Past State Presidents
From 1902 Grand Lodge Proceeding, p.82, per report of DD: On October 14, 1901, one representative of each Mississippi Lodge met at Jackson, MS #416, and organized the "Elks Reunion Association of Mississippi". The Charter president elected was Alex M. Paxon of Vicksburg Lodge No. 95 (serving at that time as 1901-1902 DDGER), and the time and place selected for the next meeting was February 10-11, 1902 at Natchez, MS.
